Cordless stick vacuum under 3 kg with a motorised LED floor head, upholstery tool, crevice tool and wall charging station. In my test it convinced on hard floors, a floor protection mat, upholstery and in the car, and the measured runtimes exceeded the manufacturer specs in all three levels.

The Levoit LVAC-300 is a cordless stick vacuum that has become very popular. But can a comparatively affordable model really convince in everyday use? I tested it on hard floors, a floor protection mat, upholstery and in the whole car. In short: the results surprised me very positively.
The test unit was provided to me. Of course, that has no influence on my assessment.
The packaging already makes a good impression. The package is surprisingly compact and sensibly packed. Inside is an extensive accessory set that lets you use the vacuum in different areas right away.
The combination of large floor head, crevice tool and motorised upholstery tool makes the LVAC-300 versatile. For a normal apartment, furniture, corners and the car, everything essential is there.
Assembly works with an uncomplicated click system. Wands and attachments lock in cleanly without wobbling. Nothing feels cheap or unstable, which unfortunately is not a given with affordable cordless vacuums.
At less than 3 kg the vacuum is pleasantly light. You notice that especially when you use it as a handheld for upholstery, stairs, furniture or in the car. I also really like the steering of the floor head: it glides easily and gets around furniture well.
The free-standing park position is practical too. The wand hooks in lightly so the vacuum stays upright when you briefly want to move something aside or tidy up in between.
The 2-in-1 crevice tool can be extended with a small brush attachment, which makes it suitable for more delicate surfaces. The mini pet hair and upholstery tool attaches directly to the main unit and is a sensible addition for seating furniture or the car.
A small classic handheld attachment for quick crumbs on the table or worktop would still be a good addition. Such an attachment is currently not available separately for this model.
For the first practical test I spread different types of dirt on the hard floor: oats, rosemary remains with small stones, coffee grounds, large leaves and potting soil with small stones.
As a rule I start in Eco mode and only increase the power when necessary. That saves battery and is surprisingly often enough for normal everyday dirt.
Oats were picked up without any problem in Eco mode. Rosemary remains with small stones in between were no problem either. This mix shows well whether a vacuum reliably takes coarser particles along with fine dust. The result here was very good.
The Levoit also removed coffee grounds without difficulty. With the potting soil and small stones the dirt was, as expected, more stubborn. Here I increased the suction power.
That matches realistic everyday use: fine, light dirt can be vacuumed in Eco mode. With soil, small stones or similar coarse dirt I would go straight to the highest level.
The floor head generally picks up large leaves well. One leaf did get caught in the brush roll, though. That is no big problem, because the brush can simply be pulled out. With larger leaves you can also briefly vacuum without the roller if needed.
Bottom line, the suction performance on hard floors convinced me. The LVAC-300 reliably picks up everyday dirt and also copes well with coarser particles if you increase the power level when needed.
The dust container detaches from the main unit at the side at the press of a button. To empty it, you press a blue button at the front and the flap opens downwards. The system is pleasantly simple and quickly understood.
After emptying, the container clicks back into place without any problem. There is one thing to get used to, though: the button for releasing the container and the button for opening it are close together. If you mix them up, you can open the container at the wrong moment and spread its contents back on the floor.
That is not a serious drawback, but you should pay brief attention to it the first time.
Since I have no carpet in the apartment, I tested the performance on a floor protection mat. Here the vacuum pulls noticeably across the surface and works with plenty of power.
On this rather resistant surface the result was convincing as well. The motorised floor head brings enough power to not be limited to smooth hard floors.
With the brush attachment of the crevice tool, more delicate areas can be cleaned comfortably. Thanks to the low weight, handling stays relaxed even when you use the vacuum not on the long wand but directly as a handheld.
The upholstery tool also made a good impression on a chair. It sits well on the fabric and can be guided in a controlled way. For seats and backrests this attachment is very practical.
In the car I used the mini pet hair and upholstery tool for larger surfaces and the crevice tool for narrow corners, edges and gaps. I started with 99 percent battery.
After vacuuming the complete passenger side, driver side and boot, the battery was still at 69 percent. For a complete car clean that is a very satisfying result.
The combination of attachments really makes sense here: the upholstery tool does the rough work on carpet surfaces and seats, while the crevice tool reaches the corners under the seats, side gaps and tight spaces.
For the battery test I ran the LVAC-300 with the upholstery tool in all three suction levels. During the test the unit only became slightly warm. The motor is apparently cooled well by the air it draws in.

The measured runtimes were above the manufacturer specs in all levels. Eco mode in particular is strong: with a good 53 minutes there is enough reserve for larger apartments. The middle level also reaches a convincing value with a good 36 minutes.
Turbo mode is naturally intended for stubborn dirt in specific spots. Almost 17 minutes is still a good result and enough to clean soil, coarse dirt or heavily soiled areas in a targeted way.
The battery can be charged in two ways:
The charging time is not particularly short. After 1 hour and 30 minutes the battery was at 47 percent, after 2 hours and 51 minutes at 86 percent. In everyday life I consider that less important, because the vacuum usually charges in the station when stored and is therefore ready to go.
The display is kept simple but looks high-quality. It shows the battery level precisely in percent and indicates the active power level. The second button switches between Eco, Mid and Turbo.
I particularly like the LEDs on the floor head. They are bright, cast a wide, clearly defined cone of light onto the floor and make dust and crumbs visible that you easily overlook in normal room light.
Yes, the Levoit LVAC-300 impressed me overall. The model is fun because many things are pleasantly uncomplicated and efficient at the same time. Assembly is quick, the attachments click in cleanly, the floor head is agile and the low weight is clearly noticeable in everyday use.
Particularly strong are the suction performance on hard floors, the versatile attachments, the convincing car clean and the very good battery runtime in the test. The LED lighting is not just a nice extra either, but genuinely useful in everyday life.
